Mombasa United Squad Put Through Their Paces in Beach Training Session
Mombasa United stepped up preparations for the 2026/27 SportPesa League season with an intensive beach training session
Mombasa United’s pre-season preparations continued with a high-intensity beach training session as the squad works towards full fitness ahead of the new SportPesa League season.
Under the supervision of Head Coach Abdulhamid Moallin and the club’s technical staff, the players completed a demanding programme featuring agility work, conditioning exercises, explosive movements and mobility drills.
The sand provided an additional physical challenge, forcing players to work harder through changes of direction, acceleration and repeated movements.
The session forms part of Mombasa United’s wider pre-season programme, which is progressively increasing the workload as the squad moves closer to competitive football.
With new and returning players working together throughout pre-season, the technical staff are also using each session to establish the physical standards expected across the squad.
Against the backdrop of the Indian Ocean, the session also reflected the identity of a club proud to represent Mombasa and the wider Coast region.
Preparations will continue as Mombasa United build towards the opening of the 2026/27 SportPesa League season.
